Congratulations to Philadelphia Partner, Peter Bludman – Defense Verdict in MVA Case For 18 Year Old Driver

Mr. Bludman’s client was an 18-year-old driving a pickup truck around a blind curve when the truck collided with Plaintiffs Mustang coupe. After interviewing the drivers and an independent eyewitness, the investigating state trooper cited our client for failure to drive at a safe speed. The plaintiff clearly sustained a concussion, however, the extent of her residual “brain damage” was vigorously contested through medical experts and testimony elicited through cross-examination.

Following a four-day trial, a 12-member Montgomery County jury returned a verdict of no negligence in favor of Mr. Bludman’s young client.
