Meghan A. Mills is an Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice group in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania offices of Margolis Edelstein. Her practice focuses on representing both public and private employers in all aspects of employment law including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, unfair competition, and wage hour claims. She also advises employers on various workplace matters such as employment policies and handbooks, employment contracts, religious accommodations, workplace discrimination, and other employment issues.
In addition to her employment law practice, Meghan has also represented parties in various intellectual property actions. She has experience in dealing with the Federal Copyright Act, the Lanham Act, fair use, exclusive and non-exclusive licensure, unfair competition, and issues involving statutory damages and awards of attorneys’ fees.
Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Meghan worked as a Law Clerk for Volpe & Koenig, P.C. where she worked primarily on intellectual property matters including patent and trademark prosecution, as well as copyright infringement litigation. Meghan graduated from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law with a concentration in intellectual property law. While at Villanova, she served as the secretary in Villanova’s Student Bar Association, and was an associate editor for the Jeffrey Moorad Sports Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Meghan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Engineering Mechanics from the Pennsylvania State University.
