Megan joined the firm in July 2017 after serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Adams County, Pennsylvania for four years. As a prosecutor, Megan was responsible for investigation and prosecution of all child abuse cases, as well as other major felonies and misdemeanors. Megan has extensive trial and courtroom experience – successfully prosecuting 11 jury trials and multiple bench trials to verdict. Prior to working in the District Attorney’s Office, Megan served as a judicial law clerk in the Adams County Court of Common Pleas where she conducted extensive legal research and drafted opinions on a variety of complex civil and criminal matters.
Megan attended Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg (now Widener University Commonwealth Law School) where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and Widener Law Journal. Megan was the recipient of Widener Law Journal’s Best Survey Staff Editor, and Moot Court Honor Society’s Best Tryout Brief (2008) and Best Internal Competition Brief (2010). As a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Megan’s team received the Best Brief award at the Jerome Prince Evidence Competition at Brooklyn Law School.
Megan focuses her practice on defending insureds in a variety of contexts, including professional liability, construction law, premises liability, insurance coverage and bad faith, automobile and trucking, and public entity and civil rights.
