Brandon A. Granda joined the firm in 2019 and is an associate in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey office. His practice primarily focuses on civil litigation in the areas of general tort liability, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. Mr. Granda also specializes in landlord/tenant law and is highly experienced in handling commercial and residential matters. He also has experience in handling matters involving municipal defense, land use, and local government law.
Mr. Granda received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in a law school, Mr. Granda was an associate editor for the Seton Hall Circuit Review, a student attorney in the Juvenile Justice Clinic, and a finalist in both the Eugene Gressman and Ronald J. Ricco Moot Court Competitions. Mr. Granda also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael A. Shipp, in the United States District Court of the District of New Jersey, the Honorable Alberto Rivas, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, Criminal Division, and the Honorable Dennis F. Carey, III, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Civil Division.
Prior to entering practice, Mr. Granda was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Bruno Mongiardo, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County, Law Division. Since his time in Passaic County, he has remained a member of the Justice Robert L. Clifford Inn of Court.
During the summers, Mr. Granda dedicates his free time to mentor prospective law students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by serving as a moot court judge for Seton Hall Law Summer Institute of Prelegal Studies program.
